I have a client named avinash who is a dyskinetic type of cerebral palsy about 18 years of age. he is positioned in a modified buggy. Due to his excessive movements his arms are also strapped. he is able to nod his head forwards and backwards and laterally minimally, he is also able to flex and extend his fingers of his left hand. I have a switch interface and cowriter on his computer. and we have made a frame on which I have fixed three switches and one is in his hand. he is able to type using word prediction with four choices.
Where i find a problem is when the words are not as a choice. When i use word predicytion I type the first letter and I get new choices. With Avinash we cant do this. So are there any soft ware or any thing to help us ?
